No Anne Arundel B matches this week. Be ready as next week will be a plenty of wrestling for you with matches on Saturday and Sunday.

 

Many practices available this week. Most teams in our leagues practice three times a week. This will be the first week where we have that option. Please attend every available practice this week, as we attempt to play catch up and prepare for the big events forthcoming. I will also have the new sign up roster available later on google docs, please log in and sign up. Remember that a blank will be taken as a no.

 

Also I still need to collect money for Anne Arundel County and singlet rentals from many of you. I will probably show balances on the google spread sheet soon.

Anne Arundel A (Sunday)

Meet is at 12:00pm

Weigh ins are at 11:00am

Anne Arundel B (Sunday)

8 & under weigh ins are at 11:00am; wrestling starts at 12:00pm

9 & above weigh ins are at 2:30pm; wrestling starts soon after that.

Naval Academy

Lejuene Hall (wrestling room/pool)

If I remember correctly, I think Prince George’s Street is where I parked. Be sure to get there early as parking will be hard to come by. Walk to the pedestrian entrance and be sure to have ID. Wrestling will be happening on 5 mats so the pace should be fast. Not sure yet if it will be 3 or 4 man round robins. Seating inside will also be hard to come by, so claim a space early. Be sure to look at the history that is hung in the wrestling room. If you look closely you may even see one of our coaches in a picture. I believe it may be the class of 79’, just kidding he isn’t that old. DON’T BE LATE, AS YOU CAN SEE FROM LAST WEEK, YOU WILL NOT BE GROUPED.

Below is the link to the state qualifier tournament in Leonardtown this weekend. As stated below the registration deadline is tomorrow.

 

Our SMJWL meet for Saturday has been changed to 10:00am start time at

Southern Middle school 9615 HG Trueman Road Lusby, MD 20657

 

You will have an option to either wrestling in the league event or this optional state qualifier

Coaches-

 

The MSWA State Qualifier at Leonardtown High School is fast approaching. Deadline for registration is Wednesday, January 15. I do not take late registrations. This helps me ensure that the event goes off without any issues.

 

A very important item, all weight changes must be made prior to Wednesday evening as well. You must make the weight entered, no exceptions.

The scheduled AACO B match has been changed to Sunday as noted above. The SMJWL Location and Time have also changed as noted above.

I am working on an easier way of tracking who will be wrestling each weekend. Details on this later.
